Sorry about the lack of in-depth posting! School freakin' sucks, man. Anyway, there are a couple of games I want to add to February (done!), but first I want to start the March roundup before the month is over just so I can make sure I didn't waste an entire month.

First of all, March has been a month full of mobile game event grinding. I don't spend money on mobile games on principle (well, except one), not because I think it's a stupid idea but more because I'm a broke student... However, if there are rewards I want in an event, you bet I'm gonna race for a little while between classes.

By the way I totally got everything I wanted in the first one. And the second one!
Secondly, after my free game craze I ended up diving into a visual novel craze. I'm actually not very familiar with the way visual novels are viewed in Western culture but they sure helped me learn Japanese!! Like really fast!
Anyway, since I'm a big fan of female protagonists (yeah okay laugh it off) most of the visual novels I play tend to be aimed towards female audiences. I know, it's a niche within a niche genre, but it's fun so that's pretty much all I care about.

Leftover Games
Sorry about the complete deviation from the schedule (I'll fix it later. Sometime.)! I still want to catch up on games like
Death & Taxes
Gris
OneShot
Night in the Woods
Which make up month and Last Month's leftover haul... (sorta gave up on Pokémon for the time being)
Other activities (writing, reading) and school are really taking it out of me, so the pace of updates is gonna drop, but never doubt my procrastination skills and discovering game skills!!
Report | April 8th
Reporting in a little late. I've been playing nothing but Repentance for the past 9 days so the leftover haul keeps growing... But I'm having too much fun. Sorry I bought a game hahahahaha
This month was visual novel month! I'm particularly fond of the ones that mess with the player's head every run and slowly help them piece together all the necessary information to unlock the mystery. Also finally got to the lauded Doki Doki Literature Club that everyone talks about online... Honestly, I underestimated it and got my freaking wits scared out of me. It was like Undertale all over again. (I played that one in 2016? I think.) I won't lie -- much of the reason I refused to play it was the community surrounding it, just like Undertale's fan-base scared me off, but the game is a freaking good game. Full stop. Even if I'm not a big fan of the art style, I think it NEEDED this art style for the impact.
I am continuing visual novel digestion in my spare time but they eat hours like nobody's business so some of the games from this month will carry over to April or May! In the meantime, I continue to play Repentance like no one's business. I'm playing it, watching it, reading the wiki etc. and having the time of my life woohoo!
Mobile game fever is not cooling down yet. We'll see next month...
Thank you for reading this far!
