大海原と大海原 | Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea (Reboot)

Storm

I should probably apologize, since my final game for this month was supposed to be Gris. But January is usually "free game binge month" for me, and I just kept playing free game after free game even during my playthroughs of Haiki Gas Circle. It's times like these where I'd like to stand on a cliff and shout "free game culture is amazing!!" at the sea or something.

Anyway, one of the longer ones I accidentally dove into was 大海原と大海原 (Oounabara to wadanohara, official translation: Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea) and before I knew it I'd already sunk 6 hours into the game with no end in sight. So Gris will be moved to February after TOWER of HANOI (another great free game that has recently won two 2020 free game popularity awards). Hopefully by then, my raging fever for the classic and amazingly made free games will calm down a little?

Some of the other games I played this month are really worth a separate post, so I might pull out some titles from my January Roundup and give them a longer writeup by themselves. For now, though, let's talk about 海底囚人 (Deep-sea Prisoner)'s second full-length game! (I'm not counting Ice Scream, their second game period, since it's 3 minutes long 🤣)

Normal End 1

Normal End 2

True End

Note | As long as this note is up, I will continue to add to this post with information and screenshots. Please check back later! (Sorry I'm so slow, too busy playing games and procrastinating on homework)
