A day after that awesome ScarletViolet trailer drop is the State of Play! I was commuting home during the airing of the show so I missed it live, but currently rewatching and will be posting impressions/recaps below. I'm excited to see what has been revealed!

There were a few happy comments though most of the audience probably thought the game was trying too hard to be anime, or rather, what a Western audience thinks anime is like

Lol the narrator suddenly switched to really fluent English at the end when he said "See you next time!" it scared me
Now for personal impressions. I think this time was really good! A LOT better than the February one anyway. Though I am really confused at why they're so slack with the Japanese dubs... it's got to be cause of the direction the company is taking as a whole but I REALLY wanted a Japanese FFXVI trailer dangit!
Personal look-outs are SFVI and FFXVI obviously, still on my quest to dive through the first six games and then some before it comes out. Stray is a personal favourite as well. Unexpected gain this time was the Callisto Protocol, which looks extremely interesting, and honestly I'm beginning to get attracted by PSVR2... though right now I am waiting for a PS5 bundle deal first when it is available.
Anyway, great State of Play, looking forward to releases of games!
